Return and Limited Warranty Information


Returns
If you need to return an item purchased on our website, you can do so within 14 days for an exchange or refund minus a 20% restocking fee and applicable shipping costs, as required. If you purchased one of our products from a retailer, please contact the retailer for their return policy. We will refund the monetary value of the items returned to us, at the price you purchased them.

Goods must be returned in a similar condition that they were received in with all packaging and accessories. PHONOCUT reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods returned are deemed to have been damaged. Used blank discs may not be returned unless there is a genuine manufacturing defect. Refunds can only be made to the original credit card, debit card or other payment used to purchase the product.

How to return a product
Step 1
Go to http://PHONOCUT.com/contact. Select ‘Product Returns’ and completely fill out the form.

Step 2
Our customer services team will process your return request and issue you an RA number. You will receive your RA number via email, usually within 72 hours.

Goods returned without a valid RA number will be refused and will delay the refund process.

Step 3
Goods should be returned to us in their undamaged condition with the RA number clearly stated on the outside of the parcel to the address provided in your Return Authorization correspondence. Your location will determine your shipping address.

No responsibility can be accepted for returns lost or delayed in the post. You should return the item to us via a traceable carrier, insured for the full amount of the value of the return as PHONOCUT cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged goods.

All care should be taken to ensure the return packaging is sealed and protected from transit damage to avoid loss or damage.

How to track your return
Once we receive the goods we will process your return and issue a refund or exchange within 10 business days. You can track the status of your return via email updates from PHONOCUT.

Limited Warranty
All PHONOCUT’s products purchased from PHONOCUT are guaranteed for TWO years from the date of purchase by the original end-user to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. In the event of such defect, the product will be repaired or replaced without charge. This is provided that a valid purchase receipt is submitted with the product and the fault is one of legitimate electrical or mechanical failure.

Product failure occurring as the result of factors that do not constitute genuine manufacturing defect are not covered under the terms of the warranty and any repairs of this nature are chargeable. The PHONOCUT warranty excludes defects due to normal wear, abuse, shipping damage, or failure to use the product in accordance with the instructions and authorized accessories. This warranty is void in the event of unauthorized repair or modification, or removal or defacing of the product label and/ or serial number. PHONOCUT's two-year warranty is not transferrable and is redeemable only by the original end-user purchaser.

Who to contact for warranty support
As your first action, you should always contact and return products to your local PHONOCUT authorized dealer or distributor where the product was purchased, who will exercise the warranty terms. Contact details for all distributors can be found on our website.

Your second point of contact will be PHONOCUT directly, who will attempt to find you assistance locally, or provide authority to return your products to the PHONOCUT appropriate regional office. In this case, prior authority must be sought from PHONOCUT Maschinen GmbH. You should always contact your local PHONOCUT authorized distributor or dealer where the product was purchased before trying to obtain a return authorization number from PHONOCUT.


When the authorized distributor/dealer warranty terms are different to PHONOCUT's
Shall the warranty period from the distributor/dealer exceed the PHONOCUT warranty period it will remain the responsibility of the distributor/dealer.

If the standard warranty terms of the distributor/dealer expire before those of PHONOCUT, the PHONOCUT terms will apply and the balance of the warranty period will be the responsibility of PHONOCUT.
